I'm a real human. No hierarchy here. I have sat in the "mud" on many occasion struggling with confusion, depression, anxiety, and health issues, much like you. And... I have found methods and practices to help me be in this life - and actually thrive - and then be ok with falling down again, feel it, grieve it, and then get back up and be filled by the joy and wonder of this life. I believe in the power of nature as the great restorer, and as the most constant and consistent relationship I have to date. If I'm feeling out of balance, I've come to recognize that it's an indicator of a lack of connection to my natural surroundings - needless to say The Great Mother and I are pretty tight. Waking up to natural beauty around me is important and a big reason for choosing to live in Asheville, NC.
I'm a contemplative at heart, philosopher, seeker..... and have been a student of Eastern philosophies for over 20 years which have helped me understand the nature of mind, how to care for this precious body - and how to dance "the dance of change."
